They do a beautiful job pruning trees, thinning bamboo, trimming cocos or downing dangerous trees. As a garden designer and project coordinator, JP actually reminds me when it is time to trim the coconuts off the trees! We just had a 110’ tall eucalyptus fall in a storm and in less than a week, it was gone.

JP's is incredible! Best on the island. Fully licensed and bonded. They are not cheap, but it'll cost you less than if you hired hourly labor to do it! I run an orchard here on Kauai. We have tree and bamboo removal work we need to get done when we clear new fields and plantings or to make the areas with homes or people safer. I used to use solo tree trimmer guys to get the job done, and they did ok. But for real work JP's is the only choice. I've seen them clear an entire lot from invasive trees in a day!

I manage a $15,000,000 oceanfront estate in Poipu. For a property of this caliber, I HAVE to bring in the best, most qualified Contractors to service this estate. JP's Trees is run by Jesse, who has numerous arborist certifications, is a licensed Contractor, and is fully insured (unlike most of the other tree service companies on Kauai - please do your due diligence as tree service is dangerous if you don't work with the right people). The temperamental driveway here is comprised of large pavers and grass, Jesse has the most and the best equipment on the island to service this level of property. Jesse is hands-on with his business, overseeing his crews and his foremen during the job and he comes by after to make sure everything is perfect. Jesse and his Office Manager Robin are great communicators. The job was done exactly as discussed and the price was right! JP's Tree Service has been doing work for us here at the Princeville Makai Golf Course. We use JP's to do all of our tree work from trimming coconut trees to removal of unhealthy and problematic trees to trimming the steep cliff sides that surround our property. They are very efficient and safe at what they do. Jesse also provides us with educated and professional recommendations when it comes to any and all of tree related questions. JP's is the only choice for great tree trimming work. They work they get done in a day would take us weeks and cost twice as much to have my guys do it. They are a company with integrity and very good at what they do. And if you get into trouble, with a big albizia coming down or something, they will make it happen to come and help you. Excellent Job! Robert and the crew did an excellent job! They worked efficiently, let me know what they were doing, and were careful as they worked. And they went the extra mile by doing a few things that were not on the work order--such as trimming the silver/silk oak limbs that were near the Hawaiian telecom lines. Mahalo Nui Loa!

We had a big land clearing job. We called and got estimates from at least 5 contractors. JP Tree Trimming and Jesse were the most professional. More importantly Jesse was the most trustworthy. Being burnt before, trust is extremely important when hiring contractors. I trusted JP Tree Trimming from the beginning. Their contract was detailed and straightforward. When the weather failed to cooperate and the job went three times longer than expected, did I get a call asking for more money or complaints about the work? No, the job was done per contract and professionally. We highly recommend JP Tree Trimming.

I love JPs Tree Trimming. Jesse, the owner, is so knowledgeable about tree's health and trimming and/or removing them as well. He has all the right equipment to do big jobs such as ours and he's insured as well. He and his crew showed up on time and quickly removed two huge trees that were ready to topple. They ground out the stumps, cleaned up and even left me some premium mulch for my garden. What more can I say other than Jesse & crew "You're Tree-rific!"

We hired JP's Tree Trimming to remove a large mango tree growing in a close space between two houses. The crew members were highly professional In every aspect of their work. The showed up on time fully prepared for the job. The followed safe work practices. They worked with remarkable skill and care in protecting not only the houses but also the palms and shrubs growing under or very near the tree. I expected some damage to the plants, so I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't find any. They even watched out for a nearby Be Still tree when they were grinding the stump to make sure they didn't inadvertently damage its roots. I told the head of the crew that the removal was "surgical." The job was completed within the estimated time period, and they cleaned up completely. I don't hesitate in giving JP's the highest rating and my strongest recommendation.

We are very happy with the level of service and professionalism JP and his crew provided in having to remove a big royal poinciana tree in our front yard. All of our questions and concerns were addressed, and when actual removal time came, everything went according to plan. JP and his crew were always on time, friendly, clean, and very thorough. Will definitely highly recommend their services and use them again if need arises.

Jesse and his crew did a fantastic job trimming a huge Albezia tree in our backyard this past week. He communicates well not only with his clients but also his crew. You can tell that they have a lot of respect for him. He oversaw our job because of safety issues and watching them all work together as a team was impressive. This was the second job that we have worked on with Jesse and his crew and we will not hesitate to contact them again when tree trimming services are needed. Update: Decided to trim more off of our huge Albezia tree. Jesse and his crew arrived this morning, as usual, on time and ready to work. Tree trimming, the right way is an art in itself. They did a great job removing a giant avocado tree that was growing to close to our home. Jessie was responsive returning calls. Robert & crew showed up on time, completed the work quick & safely. Very pleased.
